"Fine-Arts" prints on paper
It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.

Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It has another name - Candlemas, a festival of candles, a festival of fire and purification. It is celebrated during the darkest time of the year. On this day, candles and a hearth were lit in honor of the sun, which was gaining strength. And on this day both worlds came closer together - the visible and the invisible, and special respect was given to the Great Goddess. A lot of candles were lit, a lot of fire water was drunk.
The work was made in a single copy using the experimental technique of color monotype and cannot exist without each other - this is a triptych

Maria Shedrina, a contemporary Russian artist, was born in 1975 in Novorossiysk, a small town nestled along the Black Sea. Maria's artistic journey began in her formative years, as she attended art school in 1988 before furthering her education at an Art university in 1997. Following her studies, Maria spent nearly two decades working as a graphic designer, honing her skills and cultivating her creative vision.
Driven by her deeply emotional nature, Maria found solace and expression in the art of expressionism. She is drawn to experimentation, viewing it as a pathway to self-development and artistic innovation. This inclination towards exploration has led Maria to develop unique techniques, resulting in a diverse and unconventional body of work.
As a true romantic at heart, Maria's artistic endeavors are fueled by her unwavering belief in the transformative power of beauty. She sees beauty as a force capable of saving the world, infusing her creations with a sense of optimism and wonder.
Maria's love for texture serves as a guiding principle in her artistic process, with each artwork representing a new invention born out of graphic experimentation. Her works defy replication, as even Maria herself cannot predict the outcome of her artistic endeavors.
Drawing inspiration from a diverse array of influences, including her father, teacher Sergey Dergun, and esteemed artists such as Marc Chagall, Franz Marc, and Lentulov, Maria's work reflects a rich tapestry of artistic traditions and personal experiences.
In 2020, amidst the challenges of the global pandemic, Maria made the bold decision to pursue art full-time, embracing her passion for creativity and illustration. Her dedication and talent quickly garnered recognition, with Maria selling an impressive 126 artworks to collectors across Russia, Germany, Switzerland, the USA, and Israel.
Since 2022, Maria Shedrina has been a proud member of the Professional Artists' Union in Saint-Petersburg, further solidifying her status as a respected and accomplished artist within the Russian art community.
