In this work, in acrylic and oil pastel on canvas, I looked for stylistic influences and reconfigured them with a new pictorial language, above all the expression of color contrasts, deconstruction of shapes and accentuation of volumes.
I am grateful for the influence of names like Hélio Oiticica, Lygia Clark, Lygia Pape, Ivan Serpa and Carlos Vergara.

Born in Rio de Janeiro on 07/06/1969, as a child I became self-taught in painting.
For a long time I absorbed knowledge of art history and experimented with various painting techniques and styles, taking courses and workshops to improve my work, which gradually allowed me to glimpse new paths to be taken.
After this phase, I still managed to paint some pictures, which were never offered for sale, as almost all of them were donated to relatives and friends.
I spent a lot of time in a creative desert, because my job consumed all the time available, which prevented me from doing what I like most, which is painting.
In 2020, due to the pandemic, in addition to returning with painting work, I decided to take a degree in Visual Arts, which for my works will generate new opportunities and open new horizons.
