Manuel Romero Gomez wurde in Granada geboren. Sein Vater war Flamenco-Musiker und seine Mutter Fotografin. Von Ihr hat er den Blick auf Details und Formen gelernt. Sie inspirierte ihn bereits im Schulalter dazu, seine Kreativität in Bildern auszuleben.
Als Erwachsener haben ihn die Kultur, der Flamenco und die Gitarren-Musik der Zigeuner im Viertel von Sacromonte stark beeinflusst. Er malte seine ersten Kunstwerke bereits mit 10 Jahren. Damals waren es Kohlezeichnungen, zum Teil auch mit Bleistift. Er versuchte sich auch einige Zeit in der Fotografie, fand aber mehr Gefallen darin, eigenes zu kreieren, statt Momente auf Fotopapier einzufangen. Gerhard Richter inspirierte ihn dann zur Rakeltechnik. Allerdings hat er immer mit Ölfarbe gemalt. Acrylfarben haben in seinen Augen zu wenig Tiefe.
Ausstellungen zuletzt in Granada in 2019.
Er ist kompletter Autodidakt.
