Manuel Leonardi is a contemporary French artist. Leonardi embarked on his painting journey in the late 1980s. Unexpectedly and swiftly, he received a rather significant prize in Monaco, which greatly encouraged and inspired him. Since then, he has devoted much of his time to exploring the art of outdoor painting, particularly in urban settings, which had fascinated him from the beginning due to his admiration for plein air painters. He sought to immerse himself in the surroundings and recreate the atmospheres and emotions of these places through his art.

Although Manuel Leonardi had always painted people, in recent years, he shifted his focus and dedicated much more time to this subject. He delved into the intricacies of the human body and skin, recognizing it as a whole new galaxy compared to landscapes. During this period, he particularly concentrated on capturing the essence of the female body through his artistic endeavors.
