Manel Marzo-Mart is a contemporary Spanish artist. His artistic journey commenced at the Vilajosana academy, where he laid the foundation for his remarkable career. In 1973, Marzo-Mart's talents were recognized when he was awarded the prestigious scholarship from the Juan March Foundation. This significant honor led him to the enchanting streets of Paris, where he honed his skills in engraving, sculptural artistry, and graphic design. The City of Light became a pivotal backdrop for his creative evolution.

Since 1979, Manel Marzo-Mart has called the picturesque locales of St. Feliu de Guíxols in Girona and Barcelona his home and workspace. Over the years, his workshop has transformed into a dynamic hub for artistic exchange, drawing diverse talents into its creative sphere.

Marzo-Mart's artistic spectrum spans the wide array of plastic arts, encompassing painting, sculpture, and the intricacies of printmaking. His work defies categorization, traversing the terrain from figuration to minimalism, all in pursuit of a profound and substantive meaning. Each piece that emerges from his creative wellspring unveils an entire world of ideas and emotions, artfully sidestepping the limitations of mere description.

In his abstract compositions, Marzo-Mart navigates a delicate balance, ensuring that the viewer always finds a concrete point of connection. His art speaks a language of its own, revealing the profound essence beneath the surface.

The footprint of Manel Marzo-Mart's artistic journey spans across the globe. His exhibitions have graced cities such as Barcelona, Madrid, Girona, Paris, Strasbourg, Basel, Bern, Geneva, Lausanne, Zürich, Utrecht, Luxembourg, Brussels, Montreal, Houston, and Bogotá, testifying to the international resonance of his work.
