Maksim Krapht es un artista visual contemporáneo emergente de Rusia. En su obra, explora el tema del olvido al destruir la imagen de un objeto. El corazón del lenguaje visual del artista es lo efímero, como una forma de mostrar la lejanía y la inmaterialidad de lo representado. Las imágenes de Krapht son irreales, son más bien recuerdos que se desvanecen con el tiempo. Otro aspecto importante de su obra es el equilibrio, como filosofía y forma de pensar, como combinación de abstracción y realismo, como un ingenuo deseo de control.
