Born in 1964 in Porto, Portugal.
I'm a Portuguese artist, living in Germany since 1976, I'm self-taught. Have drawn and painted a lot since early childhood thanks to the influence of my father who was a commercial artist.
From 1998 I sold pictures (decoration, commissioned work, portraits) on commission for a gallery for about 10 years, and in 2007 I had a solo exhibition at the Wagner+Marks gallery in Frankfurt.
My subject is primarily the representation of man in relationship and behavior, as an individual and as a species.
Man as an individual, as a form, as an individual, as a species, as a genus, as a whole, as a configuration.
With the eyes and techniques of a draftsman, painter. Training and improving these techniques over and over again and playing with them is what is exciting.
Flower and plant configurations are also occasionally a theme, with the individual always being the essential in relation to the whole.
My favorite techniques are pencil and charcoal drawing, watercolour, acrylic and oil on canvas.

Ich bin ein portugiesischer Künstler, lebe in Deutschland seit 1976, bin Autodidakt. Habe seit frühester Kindheit an viel gezeichnet und gemalt, Dank dem Einfluss vom Vater der Werbegrafiker war.
Ich habe von 1998 ca. 10 Jahre für eine Galerie, Bilder (Dekoration, Auftragsarbeiten, Portraits) in Kommission verkauft, und 2007 eine Einzelausstellung in der Galerie Wagner+Marks in Frankfurt gehabt.
Mein Thema ist vorwiegend die Darstellung des Menschen in Beziehung und Verhalten, als Individuum und als Gattung.
Der Mensch als Einzelner, als Form, als Individuum, als Art, als Gattung, als Ganzes, als Konfiguration.
Mit den Augen und Techniken eines Zeichners, Malers. Diese Techniken immer wieder zu trainieren und zu verbessern und damit zu spielen, das ist das Spannende.
Blumen und Pflanzen Konfigurationen sind gelegentlich auch Thema, wobei das Einzelne in Beziehung zum Ganzen immer das Wesentliche ist.
Meine bevorzugten Techniken sind Zeichnen mit Bleistift und Kohle, Aquarell, Acryl und Öl auf Leinwand.
