Original Artwork refers to any work that is considered authentic and not a copy or imitation of the original works of an artist. Original artwork can be any type of painting, sculpture, performance, or other media. There are many types of original media. Mixed media includes oil, acrylic, and watercolor paintings. For workshop paintings that bear evidence of master craftsmanship, this attribution must be further qualified. While they may be less valuable for different reasons, reproductions and copies have had a tremendous impact on our experience. They reach a greater audience than originals and act as a tonic against commodification. Original Artwork could also refer to the first work, which is always preceding all others. It could also refer to a prototype or a model from which other works can be made. Each work bears great similarities to the original.

LUCIA IGLESIAS Profesora Nac. De Bellas Artes Nació en la provincia de Buenos Aires en 1970. Estudió en la Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes Prilidiano Pueyrredón (hoy I.U.N.A). Egresando como Profesora Nac. De Pintura en 1992 y de Grabado en 1995. En la Escuela de Bellas Artes Manuel Belgrano se especializó en “Sistema y Metodología de las Artes Plásticas en personas ciegas y con disminuciones visuales graves”. Cursó con el C.R.A. (Centro de Recursos para el Aprendizaje): “Títeres”. Realizó el Seminario de Equivalencia Universitaria en el I.U.N.A. Se perfeccionó en Pintura, Grabado y Comunicación.
Trabajó como profesora de Arte en el Instituto alemán Ulrico Schmidl de Munro (el mismo donde obtuvo una beca para realizar todos los estudios secundarios). Participó como ilustradora de un Diccionario de Lengua de Señas Argentina, en el Ministerio de Educación de la Nación, para escuelas de sordos.
Fue profesora ayudante en cursos de ingreso y de la Cátedra Grabado en el I.U.N.A. junto a los artistas, Cristina Santander, Ariel Mlynarzewicz y actualmente trabaja en la cátedra de Grabado niveles I,II y III con Carlos Andrés Scannapieco y Silvina Paulón con el cargo de JTP (jefa de trabajos practicos). Desde 1996 se dedica a la edición de grabados para artistas (trabajó con Cristina Santander, Carlos Scannapieco, Salvador Costanzo, Roberto Firpo, Lucrecia Orloff, Sergio Portabales, Andrea Fontenla, entre otros). También realiza trabajos de diseño, ilustración y pintura sobre tela. Dicta clases en su taller para niños, adultos y personas con capacidades especiales.
Participó en numerosas exposiciones individuales y colectivas. Ganó los siguientes premios: • Premio Mención. Salón de Tango Ilustrado Sigfredo Pastor. 2006 • Premio Mención Concurso de Croquis en el tren de la Costa. Estación Borges.2004. • Segundo Premio Grabado. Primer Salón Primavera. Centro Cultural Munro. 1996. • Mención Especial del Jurado. Grabado. Salón Pequeño Formato S.A.A.P. 1995. • Premio Mención XIII Concurso de Croquis en Puerto de Olivos. 1995. • Tercer Premio Pintura en Concurso Asociación Ravicón y Taller El Pasaje, Palermo. 1994.
