Born in Belgrade in 1956. Graduated at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade in 1980, at the painting department in the Master's studio of professor Cedomir Krstic. In 1984 was in Paris on specialization at Cité internationale des arts. Participated in numerous individual and group exhibitions.
In this period of my artistic life, time and space are themes that preoccupy me mostly. In my paintings there is no drawing as such, paintings are created with color, in broad brush strokes. Paintings are purely profound expression of my contemplation of the eternal theme of space, free from any realistic outline of physical reality.
After many years of experimenting with formats and materials for my artistic expression, from coal to mosaic, oil and canvas have proven to be the materials in which I can express at fullest. I chose a medium format, 80x80cm, which has enough space to provide me to swing in a painterly, artistic sense. It has a width for my temperament, and yet it is compact enough to fit in any ambience.
