Biography
Ljiljana Bursać
Born on October 27, 1946 in Kragujevac, Serbia.
She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, Austria, and in the USA, Germany, France, Syria and Israel.
A member of ULUS and ULUPUDS.
Beneficiary of the Youth Fund scholarship in 1972-74 and 1975-77.
Since 1971, she has organized more than 50 solo exhibitions and participated in over three hundred group exhibitions in the country and abroad.
Her works can be found in prestigious museum-gallery institutions and private collections throughout the former Yugoslavia and in the world.
She is the founder and president of Art Forum.
In 1999-2000, she staged the performance The Bridge of Light on the Kosovska Mitrovica bridge.
