The "Spring" series is a visual journey through the most blooming and cheerful time of the year. Each painting is like an open book, telling a story about the awakening of nature and the joy of life. Inspired by countless walks in the bosom of nature, the series captures the fleeting moments of spring - from the first tender leaves to the lush greenery of the trees. Through bright colors and free strokes, the artist conveys his emotional connection with nature and shares with us his love of life.
The "Spring" series is an exploration of the changing faces of nature in spring. Each painting is a unique experiment with colors and shapes, creating a wealth of visual impressions. From the delicate pastel tones of early spring to the bright and juicy colors of May, the artist uses different techniques and materials to capture the beauty of every moment. The series is a testament to the diversity of spring and the endless possibilities it offers to the creative spirit.

The series "Blue and White on the Balkans" is inspired by the majestic beauty of the Bulgarian mountains, colored in the colors characteristic of winter. In these watercolor paintings, the author conveys with finesse and mastery the feeling of calm, peace and grandeur that the mountain brings with it.
The central place in the paintings of the series is occupied by the trees, which stoically rise against the background of the snow-capped mountain peaks. Their branches, covered with white snow, intertwine in beautiful shapes, creating a feeling of strength and resilience. Trees are a symbol of life and endurance, reminding us of the eternal connection between man and nature.
The blue-white range chosen for the paintings is characteristic of the winter landscape of the Balkans. The blue sky, sometimes clear and cloudless, sometimes covered with snow clouds, contrasts with the white snow cover, creating a feeling of calm and peace. This color combination gives the paintings a feeling of purity, freshness and winter magic.
The "a la prima" technique used by the author gives the paintings a sense of movement and life. The free and expressive strokes capture the ethereal nature of the snow, the dynamics of a winter day and the variability of the weather in the mountains. This technique allows the artist to convey his immediate feeling of what he saw, creating in the viewer a sense of presence and empathy.
The paintings from the "Blue and White on the Balkans" series are ideal for lovers of the mountains, winter and watercolor art. They will bring a sense of calm and peace to any home or office. They are suitable for both a personal collection and an original gift that will remind you of the majestic nature of Bulgaria.

The landscapes of Kazanlak, famous for its rose oil production and rich Thracian heritage, offer a rich palette of natural elements, including lavender fields and a variety of mountain herbs. Lyudmila Stamatova draws inspiration from this unique environment, creating a series of paintings in which poppies and lavender are transformed with a sophisticated artistic flair.

This watercolor study captures the delicate moment of transition between autumn and winter, when the last autumn leaves still cling tenaciously to the branches before being blown away by the winter winds. The artist masterfully recreates the atmosphere of a foggy autumn morning, using the watercolor technique with its transparency and ability for subtle gradients.
The fog, slowly spreading over the ground, creates a distinct aerial perspective, giving depth and mystery to the landscape. The blue and gray shades of the fog envelop the trees, gradually blurring them into the distance, creating a feeling of ghostliness and etherealness.
Against this background, the last yellow leaves stand out like golden accents, attracting the eye and creating a bright contrast. This contrast between warm yellow and cold blue is a key element in the composition, emphasizing the beauty of the autumn landscape and its melancholic atmosphere.
The watercolor technique is particularly suitable for recreating this state of nature. The transparent layers of paint allow light to pass through them, creating a feeling of airiness and subtlety. Soft color gradients contribute to achieving smooth transitions between individual elements of the landscape, such as fog and trees, which enhances the illusion of three-dimensionality.
The etude is not just a depiction of autumn trees, but rather a capture of a certain mood and sense of time. It transports us to a quiet autumn day, filled with melancholy and anticipation of winter. This watercolor etude is a wonderful example of the ability of watercolor to convey an emotional state and recreate the beauty of nature in its finest shades.
