Biography
Carina Linné is a contemporary Swedish artist known for her versatility and experimental approach to art. A multifaceted creator, Carina paints, sculpts, writes poetry, and enjoys blending these various forms of expression. In 2021, she published a book titled Lyckoflingor och bitterhetsfrön, which combines her paintings with haiku poems, showcasing her ability to intertwine visual and literary arts.
Carina's work often conveys joy, imagination, and humor, though it also carries a touch of sadness, particularly evident in her series of childhood stories that she painted during a certain period. This series, consisting of three paintings accompanied by music, was featured as an installation at Liljevalchs Spring Salon in 2011.
Although self-taught, Carina has attended numerous painting courses, both short and long, throughout the years. Her time living in France also played a significant role in her artistic development, where she painted alongside international artists as part of the "Le Hangar Centres des Arts" association.
Carina began painting as an adult but quickly developed a distinct style, establishing her own clear voice in both painting and sculpture. Her work continues to resonate with audiences, offering a unique blend of emotion and creativity.

Around 30 artists in Danderyds Konsthall will exhibit at the expo titled "Det goda livet" (The good life) at Församlingshemmet, Danderyds Församling. 14 artists within the Swedish Club in Malta are donating around 50 pieces of art that will be shown at an exhibition in the Chamber of Commerce in Valletta. The exhibition opens Thursday evening (for invited guests) the 19th of April and are open (working days) until the 26th of April 9-17.
There are a number of companies and associations that do support the event and thanks to them, it will be possible to cover administrations costs. Read about Carpe Diems partners here. Our aim is to donate all the proceeds to the Puttinu Cares Foundation in Malta, an organisation giving support to families with a children with cancer.

* I mainly paint with acrylic on canvas.

* I was represented at Liljevalchs Vårsalong 2011 with an installation named "Nostalgia" consisting of three paintings and music.
* I have lived in France for some years and I am a member of the Le Hangar Centre des Arts.
* I have have also lived in Malta (2009 - 2012) where I learned more about painting together with some very skilled artists.
* Arranged Carpe Diem Art Show, a charity exhibition in Valletta 2012 for members in the Swedish Club where 15 artists were exhibited.
