Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. Lili Gräfenstein, born in 1948, lives and works in Germany. Graduating from the Stieglitz Academy of Art in Saint Petersburg in 1975, she was able to develop a unique and captivating style, specializing in still life and landscapes. Using primarily oil on paper, ink and watercolor, she creates works that captivate with their precision and sensitivity.
Her artistic journey began on the bustling streets of St. Petersburg, where she immersed herself in the art of graphic design. At the Academy, she perfected her techniques, juggling between painting, drawing and engraving, and graduated with distinction. His rigorous artistic education is reflected in each of his creations, marked by painstaking attention to detail and palpable emotional depth.
Lili Gräfenstein's works evoke a timeless tranquility. His still lifes, delicately rendered in oil on paper, capture the ephemeral beauty of everyday objects, while his landscapes, often done in ink or watercolor, transport the viewer into serene and poetic worlds. Each piece is an exploration of light and shadow, color and form, demonstrating his technical mastery and unique artistic vision.
Since moving to Germany, Lili has continued to paint and draw with passion.
