Certains amateurs d'art pourront préférer ses paysages marins qui donnent le titre de l'exposition: certaines sont de vraie profondeur et l'artiste s'y est attardée davantage qu'à ses autres «pochades». Barbara Lebert qualifie ainsi ces œuvres, surtout de petits formats, à cause de leur rapidité d'exécution: cette spontanéité, qualité vive chez l'artiste, s'exprime ici comme un délassement, une nonchalance, une respiration.
