"Fine-Arts" prints on paper
It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.

Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

Laurent Chimento is a professional painter born in 1974 in Manosque in the Alpes de Haute Provence.
A short initiation to painting course in the Vaucluse introduced him to this universe which he was enthusiastic about exploring.
He was then seventeen years old.
Self-taught, he studies bodies, volumes, draws in charcoal, contemplates the works of the great masters of painting
He sketches to improve his line, experiments with multiple techniques, gouache, watercolor, acrylic oil etc.
The pictorial universe of the artist seizes us when beyond the colors, he plays with the lines, the curves, the depths, bringing an original relief in the work as if he were trying to solve a mystery or to stop time. .
Above all, it is pictoriality that obsesses him. "It's not the object that counts, it's its pictoriality because it's the expression of what lives in us."
The notion of play is often present in the work of Laurent Chimento, often counterbalanced by the tropism of a seriousness that takes shape in the materiality of the work.
From all of his contemporary works, singled out by a paradoxical eclecticism, springs a charm, a poetry, a daydream, this is what the artist Laurent Chimento represents.
