Latifa El Hachem
Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all
Latifa El Hachem is a Lebanese artist whose journey is as vibrant and layered as her art. Life's challenges, including the loss of her husband during the Lebanese war, fueled her determination to create. Balanced between work and studies, she honed her artistic skills, graduating from Ecole des Beaux-Arts – La Rochelle, France. She established her atelier in 2002 to become a space for exploring various mediums, from the timeless elegance of pewter to the expressive freedom of canvas. Latifa's art is a testament to the power of resilience, transforming personal experiences into visual stories that resonate with emotion and universal themes of beauty, history, and the human spirit. Her work invites viewers to connect with her unique perspective and find their meaning within her evocative compositions.
My work explores the multifaceted nature of daily life, capturing the subtle yet profound emotions that shape our experiences. Through the expressive brushstrokes of my abstract pieces, the fleeting moments captured in my impressionistic landscapes, or the poignant realism of my portraits, I strive to illuminate the human condition. Themes of joy, sorrow, resilience, and serenity intertwine throughout my work, reflecting the complexities and contradictions of everyday life. While my artistic style may vary, my focus remains constant: to tell the stories of our shared human experience.

5 personalities about people who buy art
If there’s one thing that every piece of art has in common, it’s that no two pairs of eyes ever view them the same way. And that’s exciting. It showcases how profoundly personal the act of purchasing and collecting art can be. All of your major life events, each little nook, and the cranny of your personality impact your artistic decisions. It’s fascinating and our choices can reveal much and more about our character. With that, let’s hazard a few perceptions about what compels us to collect art at all.

What is minimalist art?
Regardless of the form, which sometimes is a square on a blank surface, other times is a set of carefully arranged neon lights or metal cubes placed on the gallery floor, minimalist art often confuses people, who question its meaning and relevancy. However, it is simple and unpretentious, often made of industrial materials, minimalist art baffles the viewers, who often wonder why exactly, are these “lines and cubes” even considered art.https://latifaart.com/what-is-minimalist-art/
