Laszlo MINDSZENTI (peintre et écrivain français d'origine hongroise) est né en 1934 à Bébéscsaba en Hongrie.
Il effectue des études secondaires et universitaires à Budapest.
Il a vingt-deux ans quand il arrive en France.
Il poursuit ses études universitaires en français.
En 1958, il se découvre une passion soudaine pour le dessin.
En 1960, il s'inscrit à l'École des Beaux-Arts de Rouen. Depuis, il n'a jamais cessé de peindre et dessiner.
Il crée et anime à Rouen, de 1961 à 1975 l'Académie Libre de Peinture et de Dessin : atelier d'art unique en France, faisant travailler simultanément des enfants, des adolescents et des adultes.
En 1965, il obtient sa licence ès-lettres modernes à la Sorbonne.
Depuis 1960, il a réalisé en France une cinquantaine d'expositions personnelles importantes, dans des Galeries d'Art, Musées, Eglises et lieux publics à Rouen, Paris, Senlis, Le Havre, Etretat, Agen, Villeneuve-sur-Lot, Marmande, Nérac, etc. :
