Lada Kholosho
Art is my way of capturing the fleeting dance of light and shadow in our everyday lives; each stroke is a testament to the moments that, once gone, are never to be lived again.
Lada Kholosho is a contemporary Ukrainian artist based in Estonia. Lada's artistic foundation was laid with five years of training in art school, followed by her enrollment in Art College in Kiev. Her academic pursuits culminated in a master's degree in Art History, providing her with a rich understanding of the artistic traditions that preceded her.
In her earlier career, Lada collaborated closely with publishers, lending her artistic touch to illustrate various genres of books. However, for the past five years, she has directed her full attention and creative energy toward her true passion—painting. Her works have found homes in over 500 interiors, adorning the walls of banks, hotels, offices, and private residences not only in Ukraine but also around the world.
Recently her art takes more abstract and emotional direction. Lada Kholosho's current artistic focus transcends the aesthetic realm; it delves into the core issues facing our planet. Motivated by a desire to address global problems, she uses her paintings as a platform to express concerns about the world's challenges. Lada firmly believes in the transformative potential of art, viewing it as a powerful catalyst for compassion and a means to awaken people from the slumber of indifference.
