The Burden of life (2022) Painting by Kristina Politidou

Painting has been her passion since childhood, and studying at the studios of famous Russian and Ukrainian artists, in particular, Lenur Velilyaev, gave her skills and self- confidence.After graduating from medical school in Simferopol in 1989, she continued her studies at the Taurida National V.I. Vernadsky University at the Faculty of Oriental Studies. This added depth to Kristina's artistic practice. For 4 years she worked as an assistant TV director of the Greek language program.After moving to Greece, she continued to study at the studios of the Greek artists. As a result, she has taken part in a number of group exhibitions and plans to organize a solo art exhibition in 2022.Kristina's art works are a part of private collections in Greece, Russia and Ukraine.
