URBEX PHOTOGRAPHY PROJECT - A COLLECTION OF 32 PIECES

Ovidiu Kloska propose to the new contemporary man an approach of the new paradigm: can the ordinary things be translated to objects of art ? This project goal is to reveal a new possible aesthetics found in the urban space with a simple transfiguration of the common places.
The project aims at a personal investigation plasticity wear urban areas , mainly in the town where I live and exist as a resident visual artist : Focsani, but Roman towns and areas where I grew up , and Iasi, where my studies are completed . This initiative Artistic launch a space - time that impersonality current urban habitat destruction while the components of architecture and urbanism indifference combined with state institutions charged with protecting , refurbishment and maintenance of urban space and lack of involvement of civil society in setting up projects improve the aesthetics of the city. Mark 50 years in Romanian society was obstructed human , cultural , spiritual, still has a persistent human and material extremely strong character of Romania with the state recovers the hardest of malignant disease : communism . Phase shifts economic and mentality , as we move away from 1989, seem to worsen increasingly stronger. We live in a rotten society in which opinion leaders and government officials only pursuing its own interests , a company unable to manage his own rescue , the ignorance , lack of culture , hypocrisy and manipulation seem to be the main essences . Decadent , corruption, mafia-style political clans , spheres of economic influence , laws just for the many banking subversive , kinky , usury , power bombs that fat accounts of unconscious manufacturers and evil , you are allowed to put on the shelves so-called foods loaded to the brim of toxins , growth hormones superficial GMO ingredients banned for decades in other countries, and expired modified , irradiated, sprayed with harmful substances , these are just a few words that describe the Romanian reality .
Investment projects in infrastructure, roads, bridges, institutional buildings are in the obscure their purpose and their degree of implementation leaving desirable , there is a huge gap between spending and results (see especially highway projects ) . The same thing happens at all levels ... nationwide to the county , municipal , rural .
The city lives in a dull numbness this pile of indifference. Girls gray design on front and gray backgrounds . Much amrfa of impersonality . A huge composition in shades and tones of gray. Spirits numb in a chaotic movement , impersonal , cracked sidewalks with wider grooves left by workers who mended UNCOVERED piping installation the umpteenth time , in addition to dry windows with advertisements washed-out and poorly crafted letters , besides stores sparkless dry and firm their only piece nonchalantly near their rented homes donutt selers change money and besides streams of cars with all their jam with threatening cobweb of cables and wires of communication, a matrix acupuncturing chaotic urban landscape. Breathing space another time, in another existence, parallel to contemporary man , broken , isolated, with poor connections that persist only in the memory of older. History of old buildings , forgotten somewhere in a drawer of an institution with a false pseudo -cultural label is lost slowly with every moment that passes, with every act of demolition or demolition of forgetfulness of evil , of avarice , ignorance demons.
We investigated these worn areas of the city: cracked sidewalks , cracked , stripped walls , mossy , rotten or rusty fences , broken windows , dilapidated buildings , and am looking into this plastic predilection to extract traces sintered spirit , embarrassed , forced , confused in portraits expressiveness reminiscent of decomposition, the decadence , insanity , futility , wasting , sadness , existence of contemporary human drama that is constrained .
Catch these brutal reality I did it with a digital camera , a Canon 400D SLR without color filters through photography "crude" pure . The images were sorted and stored , then processed in a digital image editing program Adobe PhotoShop intro very small proportion in terms of color channels or digital filters . In most of them we tried to keep as much of the initial plasticity , many of the compositions based cloning details are only small areas to emphasize portrait . Some of the works have already been completed printed on smaller surfaces and exposed the personal exhibition " Urban Wear - interference dream - Art " held at the International Centre for Culture and Arts "George Apostu " of Bacau , the initiative included in the events dedicated to the 600 anniversary of the first mention of Bacau.
The purpose of this type of project and goal artistic will be achieved by exposing these works just in urban areas , the facades of buildings in various centers of the city, the large monument. With this reality i am remodelling urban areas by simply transfiguration of the commonplace , of the ordinary, extract and focus portions of space and time, and the result of personal filter , after some creative interventions , we relocate home space - urban , where initially were " collected " .

by a thin intervention and manipulation of the photography with a visual computer images processing.
