Aus seiner modernen Pop-Art-Serie "What's beautiful?".
Sind Sie sich selbst genug? Was bedeutet Schönheit für Sie?
Der Künstler verwendete folgende Farben: Acryl braun-rot, Acryl marokko, Acryltinte weiß

Kevin Wilczewski is a young German painter and illustrator from Würzburg who explores the effects of social media on topics such as beauty ideals and transience in his distinctive pop art paintings. From the perspective of a young consumer culture, he creates expressive acrylic paintings that move between self-perception and social criticism.
To this end, he depicts a wide variety of characters in his large-format portraits - from beautiful unknowns to international stars - and illustrates them with characteristic stylistic devices that have their origins in the street art and graffiti scene. Playful "drips" are combined with striking color gradients before a refined veil of color shifts the focus from beauty based on external appearances to inner, conceptual values.
"With my portraits, I focus on the urge for perfection and at the same time show how fleeting beauty can be. In doing so, I want to question our behavior and the way we view such ideals that we encounter every day in advertising and on social media. "
Today Wilczewski lives in Würzburg, where he has worked on various creative projects for brands such as Adidas and the s. Oliver Group. His work has been presented at numerous national exhibitions in Germany, as well as internationally in places such as Barcelona and Miami, and can be found in various private collections in Germany, Austria, Luxembourg, France and the USA. He has also exhibited in Hamburg with the prominent artist and comedian Otto Waalkes and Larissa Kerner (artist and daughter of singer Nena). One of his heart projects was a charity auction in aid of the Ukraine aid organization "RTL - wir helfen Kindern eV".
The TV station BR (ARD) recently reported on its latest project in the evening news: The cooperation with the start-up "DNA2art" brings science and art together. Art lovers can have their own DNA integrated into the respective painting in the form of "drips" using a unique process - this is how the world's most individual portrait is created.
His current works from the series “What's beautiful?” confront the viewer with the question “What is beautiful?” and encourage them to question their own perception of beauty.
Are you enough for yourself? And what does beauty mean to you?
