Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. Kate is a self-taught artist, she is a modern and independent artist working primarily in watercolor and oil techniques, whose works are in private collections in Europe and Russia.
Kate began her creative activity in 2021 with oil painting, creating a series of works dedicated to romanticism. In her paintings, she praised the beauty of the female body through erotic scenes, nudes of girls and stately ballerinas, emphasizing the fragile mental organization of women. This series of original works, created from 2021 to 2022, was transferred to the collection of an international gallery in the USA.
In 2022-2023, Ekaterina mastered the watercolor technique, which influenced her art direction. She conveys emotions and mood through natural scenes thanks to her light and bold writing in watercolors. Her works are like a frame of film, an elusive light smile, a ray of sunshine, wind in the hair, raging waves, moments through which Ekaterina conveys her idea to the viewer, immersing him in this state.
A special place in her work is occupied by portraits not only in watercolor technique, but also in dry brush technique. The portraits seem to come to life on paper, atypical, three-dimensional, which you want to look at and study. Ekaterina does not stop at the achieved results and continues to improve in contemporary art, studying different techniques and directions.
"I found my language of love with the world - these are my art works".
