It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

Wim Kannekens, a contemporary Dutch painter, commenced his artistic journey as a dancer and choreographer. Unfortunately, physical constraints led him to transition from the world of dance to creating short documentaries, including contributions to the Ggz Magazine 'Psy'. Even during his time in dance and filmmaking, Wim's penchant for drawing and painting persisted, serving as a preparatory element for his choreographies and films.
In the past five years, Wim Kannekens has dedicated himself wholly to the craft of painting. Despite being largely self-taught, he actively pursued courses to expand and refine his artistic knowledge. His figurative works, encompassing portraits and nudes, are characterized by raw and direct brushstrokes, reflecting a distinctive and expressive style.
The thematic core of Kannekens' artistic endeavors delves into emotional neglect and the absence of identity, evident in his series of botox 'Failures' portraits. These poignant depictions capture a sense of painful distortion and disappointment, portraying faces that embody the antithesis of societal expectations. Through his art, the artist strives to reveal the vulnerability inherent in human nature.
