A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. Kam Bendi, a multidisciplinary artist, was attracted to artistic activities from an early age, which naturally led him to pursue artistic training in art schools. A graduate of the École Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Lorraine with a DNSEP, he began his career by exploring various professions linked to art. In turn, he was a decorator, photoengraver, advertising graphic designer, photographer, and finally taught in National Education as a professor of plastic and applied arts.
Alongside his professional life, Kam has never stopped cultivating his two great passions: photography and painting. As a painter, he devotes himself mainly to the representation of landscapes, facades, details, and places that he has observed or imagined. His creative process is guided by intuition, chance, and the emotion of the moment. Each of his works reflects different periods and artistic approaches, and his style lies on the border between semi-figuration and abstraction.
Kam explains his artistic approach in these terms: "My creative process is intuitive and responds to a conversation I have with the canvas or other support, with a vocabulary of color, shape and gesture to communicate something beyond of what cannot be expressed in words. I draw my inspiration from my physical and spiritual journeys, as well as from nature. I focus a lot on energy, symbolism, and the power of color. For me, color is a way to bring my ideas to life and convey my deepest emotions."
He adds: "My goal is not to represent reality or to tell a story or accurately describe the observed world, but to transcribe a feeling, an emotion. The viewer can thus invent his own interpretation of the work." Each of his creations is a window open to the artist's imagination, where color invites you to travel, to dream, to let yourself be carried away by emotion.
As a photographer, Kam Bendi explores various themes, including photography of everyday life, travel landscapes in reportage form, and graphic photography. "I like to get lost in cities, at random, and take images full of contrasts, paradoxes, scenes of life, people, stones, doors, a trace on a wall... Whatever the subject , each photograph is an emotion of the present moment,” he explains. His constant search for sources of inspiration has led him to explore the infinite potential of photography to capture places and emotions in every moment.
