As you may have guessed, my name is Jeanette. I'm 30 something and currently living in Houston with my 3 kids (cats) Sasha, Dartanian and Chubbles.
I love art. It makes me happy.
There's nothing I like better than to be able to start with a clean sheet of paper and create something. To me, it's like a passionate love affair. I can work the paper with a soft gentle stroke and leave just a hint of color or I can be forceful and demanding and leave something strong and rich behind. The end result, if done right, will always leave me satisfied.
What's my medium of choice? I don't have one. I'm not a purist. I don't like to be tied down to just one medium. If I think adding tobasco sauce to my ink will make the end result look good, then I will.
I want to try everything and I will in time. I know that with my experimenting, I'll have some fantastic pieces to display. I can't wait!
My work can be found in private collections, published works such as Imagine 2005 & 2006 and calenders. I have also been lucky enough to use my work to raise money for various charities.
