Jynette Meyer originally grew up in the Bay Area of California. Constantly surrounded by the artistic creations of her mother and uncle, Jyn was involved in music and art early on.
Moving throughout the Northwest United States in her teen years, Jyn was able to take in the melting pot of the western world, where she eventually met her husband, a designer and artist.
Jyn has many artistic mediums including music, poetry, graphic illustration, digital design, oil and Acylic painting, and web design. She is currently working on a children's nursery series of painted furniture and tapestries.
In 1998, Jyn and her husband Jay found out they were pregnant with their first child, Abigail. Since then, they have had 3 more children-Grace, Daniel, and Jacob, their youngest, born very recently.
Jyn is intrigued with the miracle of giving life which shows through in her recent works of art.
"I love the power motherhood can give a picture, so I take a lot of pregnancy and childhood photography, hoping to portray the adventure of pregnancy and birth as a blessing to cherish."
