Svet ni črno-bel zato, ... obožujem črno črnilo in bel papir.
Ilustracije Jureta Kralja kažejo najrazličnejše izraze.
Uspe mu žonglirati MED resnost ilustracij za odrasle v igrivost otroških ilustracij.
Njegovi prepoznavni kleni liki otroku pomagajo vstopiti v živ svet zgodb, iger in informativnih besedil. V digitalnih medijih dela toliko kot ročno - večinoma izbira akrilno barvo. Ker ni zvest posebnih barvnih shem, namesto tega se zanjo odločijo glede na temo, uspešno ustvarijo popolno okolje za mlade misli, da raziščejo svojo domišljijo in svet. Z uporabo jasnih barv in močnih obrisov je njegova ilustracija seže do najmlajših, hkrati pa očara tudi starejše otroke, saj je zelo enostavno dojeti v zasebnih okoljih. Temeljito sledi besedilu, ki ga ilustrira, in nekako še vedno najde prostor, da mu doda svoj podpisni smisel za humor. Več podrobnosti vsebuje dovolj materiala za otroke, ki še ne poznajo brati, in še vedno lahko razumete omenjene besede.
Njegove ilustracije za odrasle so manj znane, vendar jih ni treba podcenjevati. Torej enkrat preproste v zapletene. Barvno shemo razbije na osnovno črno-belo in izpusti kršno koli koli koli koli ozadje, tako da se osredotoči na čelno sceno.
