Juan Luis Gandulfo originaire du Chili, né en 1938 à Santiago.
Il commence à peindre en 2013, en Chili, comme artiste autodidacte abstrait. .En Francia comenzo a desarrollar su expresion pictorica asistiendo a varias galerias de Saint Etienne y actualmente participa en la galeria Art des Mines en la misma ciudad.
Despues de jubilarse como ingeniero comenzo una nueva etapa en su vida, la de pintor.Ha expuesto en varias ocasiones y ha donado sus pinturas . El color y la forma estan presentes en su obra y cada dia lo invitan a desarrollar su ingenio que va mas alla de la tecnica misma. La abstracción la utilizo inspirandome en pintores como Matta, Dali, Hernan Meshi y otros. Es la tecnica que mas me acomoda ha dicho Juan Luis. El color y la forma son importantes en mi concepcion, asi como la naturaleza y el clima que se hace presente y que yo reconozco en mi obra .Me gusta mucho variar mi propuesta a medida que avanzo y de ahí va saliendo, sin proponermelo, un mundo de formas insospechadas. En un comienzo el arte abstracto me fue interesando y me quede desarrollando esa tecnica hasta el dia de hoy
