Un paisaje inventado, creado de la nada. Un tributo a la arquitectura y a la perspectiva. La cual nos ayuda a estar, movernos y entender el espacio. Un paisaje con un jardín que parece levitar en un desierto al anochecer. Unas esculturas de orden clásico dan la bienvenida y ordena el cuadro simétricamente. La simetría como forma rotunda de composición, de establecimiento del orden. Unos cipreses como símbolo de bienvenida que se alejan formando dos columnas las cuales parecen perderse en el paisaje.
Y una arquitectura de planta circular, como un templete, en el centro del cuadro, que sale del agua de un estanque. Esta obra es el principio de una obra que se extendió durante años en mi trayecto como pintor en la cual empecé a trabajar con símbolos de orden clásico contenido en la arquitectura y la escultura. Tratados y sacados de su contexto pare darles una nueva dimensión, un nuevo escenario donde ubicarlos.

Juan Manuel Alvarez Cebrian is a contemporary Spanish artist known for his figurative and sometimes realistic style.
