Cette année là, ma découverte de l'artiste franco chinois Gao Xinjian à bouleversé mon rapport à l'image. Je suis sorti des codes de ce que je croyais être une illustration, pour me laisser guider par la profondeur du noir de chine se mêlant aux jeux de l'eau.
Tout a coup j'ai eu envie d'élargir mes formats d'expression pour laisser cette symbiose prendre toujours plus de place.
L'envie de poursuivre cette recherche est encore vibrante en moi. J'y consacrerai bien quelques mois de résidence !!

Biographie

The artistic practice cuts me off from the sounds of the world, dragging me into a space of time that is no longer that of men. I like to navigate, create symphonies of images, to feed texts and imaginations.
Always inspired by comics, I publish my first opus in 2021: "Quand je serai seul avec la mer..." where I explore through drawing and painting, the element Water-Ocean in all its shades of blue. The text is an adaptation of the eponymous novel by Dominique Guyaux.
Today I keep on the practice, and prepare two new books !
What I sell here is hours of love and work ! Maybe the meaning I put in my Art will resonate for you.

I recently had the pleasure of both purchasing a painting and commissioning a custom piece from Joachim (Jo) Rossignol, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of exceptional!
From the outset, Joe was a consummate professional—understanding, responsive, and deeply committed to realizing my vision. His ability to grasp what I wanted was matched by his enthusiasm in keeping me updated throughout the creative process. He frequently shared progress, allowing me to see the evolution of my piece, which I found both reassuring and exciting.
What stood out most, however, was Jo's accessibility and his willingness to cater to my requests, no matter how specific. This level of client service is rare and greatly appreciated.
As for the artwork itself, Jo's use of colors and attention to detail is astounding. His talent is evident in every brushstroke and pen line, bringing life and depth to his work that is genuinely captivating.
Beyond his artistic talent, Joe is also a wonderfully pleasant individual to communicate with—friendly, approachable, and always ready to engage in a meaningful way.
