Jérôme Dutang was born in Aix-en-Provence, a city located in the south of France. From his teenage years, he developed a passion for street art, including skateboarding, graffiti and photography. With his friends, he spends his time filming and editing skateboarding videos, exploring the streets of Aix-en-Provence and Marseille. Over the years, Jérôme bought a Canon camera and gradually turned to photography.
During his travels, Jérôme takes every opportunity to practice skateboarding and explore the alleys of the cities he visits, such as Barcelona, Marseille, Faro and Lyon. It is during these moments that he captures the present moment through his photographs. His photographic passion lies mainly in capturing the play of light and shadow, which he then transforms into black and white to accentuate the contrasts.
After the success of his first exhibition at the restaurant "O'gustus" in Aix-en-Provence, followed by a second exhibition at the photo development laboratory "Gloomy art" in Gardanne, Jérôme Dutang, native artist of Bouc-Bel-Air , wishes to renew its artistic experience in places that highlight the art of photography. Driven by his passion for photography and video, Jérôme aspires to share his art with a wider audience and to continue to push the limits of his creativity.
