The title of the exhibition is “Women and Cultural Heritage”. Women's contributions to culturalheritage not only play an individual role, but also have a wide sphere of influence in the social context.Throughout history, women have often been the transmitters and perpetuators of cultural practices andtraditions. The visibility of these roles of women allows for a richer and more meaningful preservationof cultural heritage. In this context, the economic, political and social achievements of women, whoare both carriers and shapers of cultural heritage in our country, were celebrated for the first time onMarch 8, 1921. With the cooperation of Süleyman Demirel University Intangible Cultural HeritageApplication and Research Center and Yoruk Culture Application and Research Center, this exhibitionwith the theme of “Women and Cultural Heritage”, which will be opened with the aim of celebratingthe economic, political and social achievements of women within the framework of human rightsuniversally, is open to works in all art disciplines that can be published online.
