My name is Jeanne-Marie. I am originally from Pas de Calais where the light is so special.

I learned to observe nature with my maternal grandfather. My mother, a first hand at Christian Dior, gave me a taste for colors, attention to detail and meticulousness in her work.

I love landscapes and the atmospheres that emerge from them.
My work is very emotional. I like to observe the world around me. I draw what I see but I paint what I think. The presence of man is always suggested but rarely represented.

I have used watercolor, oil and now acrylic. I work in watercolor material or transparency. I like harmony in color and the symbiosis of hues.

My painting is human, colorful and allows me to express my inner and visual sensitivity. Urban landscapes are a turning point in my work. I like to detect and restore the harmonics of their shapes and colors and show a facet outside of activity and frenzy.

It is above all a painting of atmosphere.
I wish to offer the public a painting full of dreams, poetry and I hope that you will feel the emotions that guided me in my choices and my work as an artist.
