Jean Rougerie, a contemporary French painter is known for his versatile artistic expressions. Registered with the Maison des Artistes, Rougerie has showcased his work in numerous exhibitions both in France and internationally, with a particular presence in Japan and the United States.

Born in Frayssinet-le-Gélat, a small town in the Lot Department, just 28 kilometers from Cahors, Rougerie has cultivated his craft in his workshop there, producing a diverse range of works spanning Figurative, Semi-Figurative, and Abstract styles. His artistic journey began with formal education at the Fine Arts of Bordeaux, followed by advanced studies in the Architecture section at the Fine Arts of Paris from 1967 to 1969.

Rougerie is a prominent member of French Artists, regularly exhibiting at the prestigious Grand Palais in Paris every September. His work has been celebrated in various galleries across France and around the globe. Esteemed art critics such as Aline Dinier and Henri Beulet have penned numerous articles praising his artistry.
