My meeting with Jean-Pierre Charbonnier, or rather our unexpected reunion 20 years after our
collaboration in the musical press, with the creation of the magazine "Hard Force", these are revealed to be unique.

I had followed his work as a renowned illustrator from afar, his posters for the Olympia, his graphic works
for great musicians. This self-taught artist had long established himself through his character
demanding, his meticulous works and, in my eyes, had nothing more to prove in his field of
predilection.

in the direct line of Norman Rockwell, of an American tradition that he knew how to adapt without plagiarizing it.
