Jamaleddin Toomajnia is an Iranian-Turkmen-based artist, was born in 1981 at Gonbade Kavous. He graduated painting from Tehran University. Ph.D. candidate in History of Art at İstanbul Technical University. He worked as a research expert in the Academy of Art in Iran for five years at the same time he had an atelier in Tehran. He paints and researches folkloric and traditional arts in Turkmen tribes because he belongs to these people. After immigrating to Turkey in 2012 for continuing his education he continued his painting in his home-atelier and represents his works at online galleries such as Saatchi. After a while, he began to contribute to group exhibitions in Turkey and collaborate with the Appolon Art gallery in Istanbul.
