Amateur de marine, je navigue depuis de nombreuses années, photographe amateur, je m’inspire de mes clichés pour des aquarelles de bateaux, rivages marins et un peu plus. Les bateaux traditionnels, sous voiles ou au mouillage dans les iles de Chausey, constituent mes sujets préférés. Je travaille avec du papier grain fin et des couleurs de la marque Rembrandt. Je pense assez bien saisir la personnalité des paysages marins et des bateaux. Certaines aquarelles ont été réalisées in situ, plutot en petit format pour des raisons pratiques : il faut débarquer en annexe , marcher dans les rochers avec le minimum de matériel, aller vite pour repartir avec la marée. De formation et de profession ingénieur, j’apprécie la sobriété de moyens associée à la peinture aquarelle que j’ai commencée en 2020, seul ou en petit groupe, en diversifiant les sujets.
