Painter-sculptor born in 1944 in Marseille, he began painting at the age of 12 and after general studies at Baccalaureate level, he returned for 5 years to the fine arts in Marseille at Place Carli, student of G.BRIATA and of CANEPA for painting and BOUCHE and ROCH for sculpture
He had his first exhibition in 1964 then throughout FRANCE and brokerage in the USA and CHINA. TROUPEL is constantly looking for new forms of expression, he will create, among other things, pearly gouaches, fire drawings, cut aluminum sculptures, composite bas reliefs, sculptures with bones, glycerophthalic oils, drawings with the medical needle, active sculptures, composite structures etc...
Troupel is surprising in fact which artist would dare after having made his drawing to set it on fire to make a work of it. (to discover at all costs)
