The exhibition aims to enhance the importance of the "Museattivo Claudio Costa", the only museum in the panorama of Art Brut in Italy, so as to make it dialogue with the Outsider Art and the International Art Brut structures.
The exhibition will be divided into three sections: the first dedicated to Ateliers, curated by Prof. Giorgio Bedoni; section where Historical Ateliers will be presented, operating in public and private structures of the Ligurian and Italian territory, such as "La Tinaia" (Florence), Centro Basaglia with "Blu Cammello" (Livorno), "Atelier Diblu" (Melegnano, MI); Centro di Attività Espressive ASL 2 Savonese. The second section will be dedicated to museums, which will show artists that are present, with their works, in the Museum of Naif and Marginal Art (Jagodina, Serbia), museum directed by Nina Krstic. In the third section there will be 6 international artists presented by Association Culturelle Polysemie (Marseille, France) and by the Little Art Box Association (Genoa, Italy).
Will be shown documents and apparatus related to the evolution of the Institute in its 30 years of activity, which include scientific material and documentation of the path of the Museum and its commitment to establish a balance between the activity of Art Therapy Workshop and the promotion of the Museattivo ; in this section will also be exhibited works by Claudio Costa, Davide Raggio and Pietro Ghizzardi.
