Ira Kub (born 1966) is a Moscow artist. Ira’s works are in collections in Russia, USA, UAE, UK and other countries. Ira collaborates with leading interior stylists in Moscow. Her paintings were featured in filming published in Elle Decoration. Since 2011, he has been actively participating in offline and online exhibitions in Russia and abroad. Ira became the winner of several international art competitions. In 2022, her painting, among the winning works of the “To the North” competition (organizers: Omelchenko Gallery, Andrey Malakhov, Center for Contemporary Art “Shine”), was transferred to the fund of the Center for Contemporary Art “Shine” (Apatity) The theme of Ira’s work is harmony, peace, soft power, restrained feminism. Ira is inspired by such masters as Vincent Van Gogh, Yayoi Kusama, Roy Lichtenstein, Christo. In her paintings, she seeks answers to questions about the interaction and exchange of human emotions with the outside world, and tries to find inner balance through self-expression in art. Ira creates her own universe, an important part of which is homage to the works of great artists in a deeply original style. Ira is in constant search; in addition to acrylic, she works a lot with graphic materials, introducing elements of handicraft and folk art, which makes her works bright, relevant and recognizable.
