Silke Host is a contemporary German-French painter. She mainly paints with acrylic large canvases and uses the various techniques of acrylic painting. She finds freedom and self-discovery through her use of art, which she views as a sort of therapy. Host creates her own world through her own figurative works, a place devoid of poverty.
She occasionally embellishes one or more of her distinctive creations with hummingbirds. With its stunning hues, this species of bird fascinates her. The hummingbird represents happiness, grace, and harmony. It represents the beauty and richness of life. And that's precisely what Host connects art with.
