Biography
Inese Eglite, also known as Elte, is an accomplished Latvian artist, whose paintings have been featured in solo exhibitions as well as numerous national events in Latvia.
In his works, the author wants to awaken different feelings and meaningful memories in a person, to enrich the inner world of a person. Painting seascapes, flowers, wildlife in oil, the author tries to discover spirituality in a person’s life, which would make it possible to enjoy the beautiful, because time does not stand still, there is no present, but there is only the past or the future, which flows in a certain rhythm and in different variations. In her paintings, she stops time, because the finished painting reflects the elusive present, which is both movement, and variations of light and shadow, and a reflection of the interaction of colors and shapes on canvas...
