Игорь Коморный

Komorny Igor Vladimirovich was born in the city of Vladivostok on November 22, 1962.

In 1981 he entered the Vladivostok Art College (VHU), a design artist at the department.

In 1993, he first took part in the collective Regional Youth Exhibition at the ARTETAGE Museum of Modern Art. He exhibited works on various sites.

In 2003, he made a series of works in oil and mixed media, which he exhibited in the private gallery "Veiw on Elm," in the city of Greensboro, in North Carolina. The Megacity diptych was acquired in a private collection.

Since about 2007 he returned to painting, gouache. He made several dozen works in the direction of expressionism. One of the works - "Yellow Crow," was acquired in 2020 by the "First Far Eastern Auction House."

Since 2015, he began to engage exclusively in figurative painting and graphics, in the direction - symbolism. From that time to the present, I take part in all city and regional collective exhibitions in the halls of the Primorsky Regional Union of Artists, the Primorsky Regional Art Gallery, the halls of the FEFU (Russky Island), and the ARTETAGE Museum of Modern Art. Works with these exhibitions are published in catalogs, marked by diplomas and art critics.
