Iano was born in 1977 in the Paris suburbs. Immersed in a creative world from childhood, he quickly developed skills in this area. Gifted for art, he intended to follow an artistic and technical course very early on. Fiercely unadapted to this world, it is in the European “underground” universe that he flourishes and strengthens his creative imagination and his personal techniques. It is an artist's view that he takes on the urban and subversive environment that is his, and it is naturally that this leads him to look at the different forms known as “vandalism”. At the same time, while making his mark in the world of tag, he meticulously studied the work of Dali, Escher and Arcimboldo. In his journey full of trials, it is always his creativity that allows him to survive and move forward. His furious and diligent practice of painting leads him to experiment more and more without ever using brushes. He mixes all the techniques at his disposal: Posca, pastel, spray paint, fluid pouring and acrylic which he mixes with household products to bring out unexpected textures. Through his works, he seeks to arouse the imagination of the observer by giving free rein to everyone's interpretation. It was at this time that he became interested in the development of the right hemisphere of the brain, the one which comes into action when faced with the unknown. Stimulating it is beneficial for healing the body and mind. This is what he wants to develop in his art and this is his way of contributing to the world.
