I was born near Rouen in Normandy. I did not study art although I had a predisposition to drawing at a very young age. I now thrive in retirement making paintings in oil or acrylic.
In 2003, I enrolled in evening classes with Irène Pighetti, who taught me the basics of oil painting on the theme of the Impressionists.
Then from 2008 to 2010, I enrolled in afternoon classes where a self-taught teacher Lucien Mozzi gives his time and shares his passion with us.
For the next few months, I plan to develop the design further with the objective of finding my style.
I have always been attracted by various techniques, I have a thirst for learning and I have a great curiosity. I'm still active, I need to occupy myself to escape, to dream. A way for me to empty and it fills me completely. I can't go several days without touching a brush.

Thanks to the neighborhood workshops, I was able to learn different painting techniques: I discovered painting on silk, then acrylic painting on wood with Josiane Busseron, a talented teacher whom I thank, then oil painting, India ink, pencil, watercolour.

I also have a friend who practices watercolor beautifully, with great kindness she teaches me her technique.
I am surrounded by Artist friends who give me their advice and I sincerely thank them.
