The palace was built by Count Vorontsov in 1848 on the shore of the Black Sea. He attracted the British architect Edward Blore to the construction. The palace was designed in the style of a medieval castle.

I was born and grew-up in Kharkiv, graduating from high school in 1986, and from the College of Architecture at Kharkiv in 1990 with a Bachelor degree. I completed my Masters at the Academy of Architecture in Kharkiv, graduating in 1999. Since then I have worked on many major architectural projects across Ukraine and central Europe.
