Henk Klinkhamer werd geboren op 31 maart 1952 in Leiden. Op 14-jarige leeftijd exposeerde hij al met de kunstenaars vereniging “Lijn en Kleur” uit Hillegom, er werden acht gouaches van hem getoond.

Van 1965 t/m 1967 werkte Klinkhamer op het atelier in Hillegom van de kunstschilder Kees Heemskerk sr.
Van 1968 t/m 1969 had Klinkhamer een eigen atelier in de Goudhanesteeg te Hillegom.
Van 1971 t/m 1984 werkte Klinkhamer aan een eigen stijl en aan een kunstvoorraad om te kunnen exposeren.
1985: Solo-expositie K.G.C. Hillegom, Exposities in; Toronto, Galgary, Ottowa, Vancouver, Canada en Gallery Tropical in Antwerpen.Opdrachten B.M.S. Leiden
1986: Oprichting Sybarit Art Group. Expo KGC Gallery, Hillegom. Manifestuitgave + uitgave Sybarit Art krant met speciale zeefdrukken. Gelimiteerde oplage, gesigneerd en genummerd.
1987: Expositie Jas & Klinkhamer "Paperworks", Artopa. Lisse. Opdrachten Proforms, Heerhugowaard. Opdracht Sloos, Hillegom. Expositie Bollenschilders, Noordwijk. Opdracht Blues Brothers, Hillegom
1988: Opdracht Gemeente Hillegom Opdracht C.N.B. Lisse. A.&B. Promotions Amsterdam.
1989: North Sea Gallery Scheveningen, performance met Jas en expo met de “Tulip Art Sorting Machine” Cultureleraad, Hillegom Tulip Art Performance en expo samen met Jas. Jas en Klinkhamer verklaren de Bloembollen streek van Noord en Zuid Holland tot Kunstgebied, 35 Burgemeesters van Bloembollendorpen worden hiervan op de hoogte gesteld.
1990: Opdracht Proforms Heerhugowaard. Muurschildering Koningin Juliana paviljoen Keukenhof Lisse. World Clean project “Art in the Flowers” met Robert v. Vliet. Speciale uitgave zeefdrukken 1x100st. en 1x250st. 5000st.posters Opdracht Muziek Theater Amsterdam, afm. 2x37 mtr. En 1.10x5 mtr. “Art Underground Project” werd geopend door wethouder van cult. Amsterdam Dhr. Ten Have. Opdracht muurschildering “Hersenscan” Synopsis, Noordwijkerhout.
1991: Expositie Cultureleraad Hillegom. Opdrachten Proforms Heerhugowaard. Opdrachten “Montessori Group”, Zelhem "Montessori International”, Californie. Opdrachten Holland Catering, Heemstede.
1992: Opdracht Labkoo voor 150 zeefdrukken Skybox Ajax Stadion Amsterdam, samen met Robert v. Vliet. Expositie Proforms Heerhugowaard in aanwezigheid van Mv. Korte van Hemel (staatssecretaris) Tomas Lepeltak (Stan Huygens journaal Telegraaf) en Peter Knegjens. Peter Knegjens wordt Klinkhamer’s P.R. manager.
1993: Solo-expositie Kersentuin Amsterdam, opening Stan Huygens, Telegraaf. Unicef, Megafestatie Utrecht, Guiness Book of Records samen met: Patty Harpenau, Candy Dulfer, Arnold v. der Leijden e.a. Het schilderij werd geschonken aan de President van Ghana.
1994: Opdracht Chinese bloementuin “Peking-China.”. Dit werk werd onthuld bij de ceremoniële opening van de Chinese bloementuin, gelegen in Peking. Opdracht Willie Wortel Workshop, Haarlem.
