“Unconsciously Conscious’ in my dreams subconscious, unconscious and conscious states intermingle and it leaves an impact on my paintings.
I think dreams are a form of human desire – a reflection of a fertile mind projecting things in exaggerated forms; and often the time and space created seems unintelligible. Events of the days cause them to appear -- they evolve or become displaced in the form of dreams. In my painting dream infused topics and sometimes unsettling forms appear; yet I draw to make a metaphorical comment on and to cater to the minds that are stirred by nature and life. Life in the city, the horrors of every-day existence, and the innocence of humans who encounter them on a daily basis are my subject matters.
