Guerziz Maâmar dit "Muss", est un artiste plasticien Algérien, il est né le 07 Mars 1978 à Chlef à l'ouest d'Alger, il a fait ses études primaires et secondaires à chlef. Après le BAC, il rejoint la Fac de Biologie à Alger "USTHB" avant de changer complètement de domaine, il passa alors le concours d'admission à l'École Supérieure des Beaux Arts d'Alger qu'il obtient avec succès. il a fini ses études par l'obtention d'un DESA "Diplôme d'Études Supérieures Artistiques" en juin 2003.
En Octobre 2003, il commence une nouvelle aventure qui le conduit à Paris, la capitale de l'Art et de la Mode, il rejoint l'université Paris1 "Panthéon-Sorbonne" où il réussit à obtenir une Licence 3 d'arts Plastiques (mention A.Bien) puis une Maîtrise (mention Bien).
Le 26 septembre 2007, il a soutenu son mémoire de Master 2 intitulé Thanato-Poïétique, sous la direction de Monsieur le professeur Richard Conte, il a obtenu la mention Très Bien (17/20).
Depuis mars 2010, il occupe le poste d'enseignant d'Histoire de l'Art aux écoles d'Arts d'Oran et de Sidi Belabes.
actuellement en 1ere année de Doctorat " LMD" Arts plastiques à l'université "Abu Bekr Belkaid" à Tlemcen
