Gubé, the sculptor and photographer, has always been attracted to artistic professions, although her path first led her to doctoral studies and an engineering school, where she spent 25 years of her professional life work in the field of renewable energies and cutting-edge industries.
Gubé's life took a turn when she was confronted with illness. It was then that she discovered clay sculpture, which became for her an escape from pain, a way to transcend physical limitations, and a source of psychological rebirth.
The year 2020, marked by the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, saw the birth of the artist Gubé. Deeply concerned about preserving our planet's resources, she has chosen to recycle all of the land residue used in her creations. Its technical approach allows it to do without the second firing cycle traditionally used in pottery.
Gubé pieces are finished with care, through the application of resins, pigments and natural waxes. His artistic work reflects both his passion for art and his commitment to preserving the environment, creating unique and lasting works.
